Why do so so many people shy away at the idea of kinks and BDSM?

I'm a private person and i'm old school and i believe that whatever you are into is between you and whomever you are intimate with. What happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom. I don't want to hear about it, i don't want to see it. I dont need to join some fetish club or be a walking billboard. That's just me! Its my personal opinion. Its all so hypocritical, some of the same people who are flaunting their sex lives to the world are bashing gay people for doing less.
