I Am Intelligent Yet Still An Idiot

I give the wrong people the benefit of the doubt...over ...and over...and over again.

@NewKidInTown: and what if I do learn from it? Then I stop giving anyone the benefit of the doubt because most aren't deserving of it. But that means that I won't give it to the few that do deserve it. Kind of a conundrum.

@NewKidInTown: I need to learn to only give people the hard crusty outer layer of me...and save the soft gentle inner layers for those that have proven themselves over time. Not so easy when I try to see the good in everyone.
