Why do you say you're fine when you're not fine?

For me it's usually because:
1. They just don't get it

2. They suddenly want to play a game of 20 questions

3. They info dump you with a butt ton of suggestions you're already trying

Or

4. Just wanna be left alone, and sometimes saying you're not fine makes them hang around longer like a bad smell

For me, it's because I don't want to drag others into my storm for one thing and for another thing, I think if I say it enough, I'll actually believe it.
