Why is it so hard for people to just be a genuine friend? Why when someone messages you, 9 times out of 10 there's an adult ulterior motive behind it?

Messages me? Confused. What is this "messaging" of which you speak?

Other than the occasional 20-something asking me if I'm having a nice day and hoping I might send her money. And she doesn't even offer feet pics. :-(
