Why is it so hard to find a good church?

That's been my experience, at least.

When I was growing up for example, my family would attend a church on an average of about 3-4 years, then we would move on to a different one.

The longest time we've ever attended a particular church was nearly 8 years, before the pandemic happened.

It's because there aren't any good churches.

Did you ever try a congregational church? It was pretty nice when I went.

@fun4us2b Like, nondenominational? Because that's pretty much what I am.

@SubstantialKick They are part of UCC - my experience is that members are free to believe and think what they want and find their own level, which is perfect for me.

Nothing is easy.

Dominated by old people, is that Christianity?
@SW-User No it isn't.

It may be that different environments speak to your condition at different times.

You already know the answer, now all you have to do is admit it to yourself.

Praying for a suitable church is a good idea.
Check the church's doctrine.

@Emosaur I did not know you were converted. Well done, I knew you were searching.

@Emosaur Your English is very good, but in England we do not swear. It is impolite.
