How do you guys manage your anger toward others?

I’ve realized one of my flaws is that I’m quick to anger. I don’t lash out by yelling or getting physical, but my words can get really sharp and hurtful even when I speak in a calm tone. Do you have any advice for me on how to work on this?

I was blessed with the patience of a saint so my anger levels tend to not come to surface. All I can say from my perspective is remember all words carry meaning so be sure that if you say it, you can’t take it back. I think the guilt of upsetting others at the hand of my lack of control of emotions would eat me up.
