Let's talk about Emotional regulation

The journey towards success often involves developing strong emotional regulation skills. This involves managing intense emotions( progress,disappointment, frustration, and anxiety) which can hinder progress. Successful individuals learn to control these emotions and channel them into productive behaviors. This may appear as a lack of outward expression, but it's actually a sign of effective emotional management.

The Bhagavad Gita states that individuals achieve emotional stability as a result of managing/controlling
(a) their senses (Chapter II, Verse 58),
(b) their desires (Chapter II, Verse 55),
(¢) their anger (Chapter II, Verse 56) and
(d) their mind (Chapter II,Verse 57).

The Bhagavad Gita defines emotional intelligence as the awareness of where to invest and where not to invest one's emotions. It also emphasizes self-awareness as the first step in emotional control. A person with emotional stability has complete control of their emotions in all situations. This leads to peace and freedom from fear.

Emotional intelligence is an astute quality.

Yeah, I’m inclined to agree. I don’t think you have to be completely stoic in expression, but making sure you don’t fall apart or get distracted/disoriented can be pretty important.
@WhateverWorks exactly
It could also be emotional regurgitation to feel safe. (not judgment, just honest take)
