I suppose you should probably try and get used to talking about issues from your past (I understand that may be incredibly difficult) or maybe practice what you want to say in a mirror. with time things like talking about difficult subjects becomes easier. but if you continue to push them down, then it'll only be harder when you have to address them.

@Chops I'd start light. maybe if something bothers or annoys you during the day, mention it to yourself. like when you have a moment alone just whisper to yourself what bothered you. through doing that you'll stop yourself from hopefully bottling anything else up and eventually you'll be able to talk about more challenging topics. like it can be literally anything at first, no matter how small or insignificant. that's just what I would do though.

Make the apology short. I'm truely sorry, I never intended that to happen.
If you go into a long explanation you've just made the apology all about you. If they ask that's the time to explain.

It's good u want apologise .
You'd never know it might make that persons day and by you apologising it will make your day cause that person wont be inside your head .
