@calicuz @calicuz To be true, Everything is a propaganda. We don't know what's inside the Earth. Just based on density difference and the magnetic property of the earth, it is believed that The core is made up of Iron and Nickle. Only science can believe in the things which it does not see. That's why I take science well, but with a salt of grain.
Earth's magnetic properties could be because of some other metal too which we have never found like there are a number of species which we have never accounted for. Is it not possible that there could be some other, more denser material which we do not know about? But no, it's Iron and Nickle because these are the only elements which the scientists know about.

i don’t know about metals but i do understand that there are waters 6 times larger than all of the oceans submerged underneath.

Actually we can't know what metals are in the core of the earth since we can't get there to find out.

I would guess almost all of then with a big portion of nickel and iron,

Iron and nickel
calicuz · 56-60, M
Is it true that Russia tried to drill to the core of the Earth?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@calicuz No they got down 12 kms. They figured that the crust is 30 kms thick in that area. They didn't even make it half way through the crust.
calicuz · 56-60, M
I do not, are you going to tell me?
TheOrionbeltseeker · 36-40, M
@calicuz Iron and Nickle is what scientists say. They have never seen it though.

I thought the core was molten lava. Is that just more propaganda I was fed as a child growing up in America?

One is molten iron I think. I don't believe in some middle earth civilization, seems like it would be a very inhospitable environment.
Max41 · 26-30, M
If they say it is iron , they must also explain the electrical storms through it .

Hot ones ....

Fe, Ni, something like that
