one of my close friends has no memory of either of his parents ever saying they loved him, in childhood or adulthood.
He told me he doesn’t think he’s ever told anyone he loved them. Of the 8 years we’ve know each other I’ve told him i loved him once, and he nervous giggled. And he gave me a sympathy hug once
