baby witch here

Hi I'm new to the world of witchcraft and I consider being Eclectic. I am also not Wiccan. I just need a few tips and advice for beginners like me. Some pointers and reminders maybe? Thank you in advance!

Use anything you read or hear as a guide, but do your own thing. There is no right or wrong, only what feels right for you.

Nah man. I want results
There's got to be BPGs for making magic work otherwise it's just imaginary.
@Pikachu Witchcraft is a spirituality. It's a religion based on nature. It's not Harry Potter.
I've read many of your postings. You're intelligent. But you lack wisdom and maturity.
But you're still young as well.
Every great science came about because someone who was told 'that's not possible' set out to show that it was.
The magic of the past is the science of today.
The magic of today is the science of tomorrow.

So how you demonstrate that it actually works and what are the means to achieve that end?
@Pikachu I know how you work. For some reason you're driven to show everyone who has a spirituality that they're wrong.
I don't know what that's about. Why that's so important to you. But I don't play that game.

The OP asked for advice on something that interests her. That's what I'm replying to here.
Enjoy your Sunday.

lol if that's your take away then you don't understand how i work at all.
But i understand how folks can feel attacked when they are challenged. I just asked you a simple question after all.
I'm not interested in defending myself to you though so if you're happy to wright me off so easily then you do you.
Have a pleasant day🙂✌️

@Pikachu I mean, that's what I saw you do. You popped in to a conversation about this person's religious faith, that had nothing to do with you, and while we were giving her advice on how to get started, you started making fun. I mean, what's the point of challenging people who aren't pushing their religion on you? Does it make you feel better?
@LordShadowfire

Actually i'm interested to hear what you think i said that was making fun or being mean spirited.
Because what i think i did was pop into a thread asking how to do magic and questioned someone proposing to have answers about how magic can actually be made to work in a demonstrable way.

If someone could do magic, wouldn't you want to know it was real?
I don't really get why you're attempting to shame me for that...
LordShadowfire · 46-50
@Pikachu It came off as you were making fun of someone's religious practice.
@Pikachu I also felt it was disrespectful to the OP, which is why I wasn't about to continue with you. Your interest here was to turn this into another one of your "prove it to me" threads. You said I don't know you, and of course that's true. But I know what you do here on SW. I don't think that's what the OP was looking for.
@LordShadowfire

Well sorry for sound antagonistic and maybe i could have been gentler in my approach but if people reckon they know how to make magic work then i want to hear how they do it.
@robingoodfellow

I didn't respond to OP. I responded to you: a person with apparent insight into how this stuff works.
Again, if you think my threads are about "prove it to me" then you don't understand what i do here.
I think you might be better served by talking to people rather than making assumptions.

Your feelings are your feelings so if you felt disrespected then i apologize because that was not my intention. I literally own a book called Wicca & Witchcraft for Dummies so i assure you that when i ask how this stuff works it's because i want to know how you think this stuff works.

If you think you can give an answer to my question then i'd be glad to hear it.
If you'd rather continue to tell me what you think of me then feel free to PM me.
LordShadowfire · 46-50
@Pikachu I owe you an apology, then. Most people who ask questions like that are looking to debunk it.
@LordShadowfire

Apology accepted.
I understand that it's easy to feel persecuted when you believe in something that is fringe.
