Isn't it wild we can actually see such high resolution pictures on the surface of Mars? Mind boggling

Our unmanned (okay, "uncrewed") space program amazes me. I worked in the manned (crewed) space program for years, but even their greatest achievements don't compare with the space probes to distant planets, asteroids, etc. Thanks for the photo.

I'm always filled with a sense of awe knowing I'm looking at a completely different planet than the one I'm standing on.

Very impressive achievement to obtain such photographs.
Interesting geology: the rock looks sedimentary but could be layers of volcanic ash.

It's incredible considering that it's 200 million miles away. So cool.

Why is there daylight
Hanafia · 22-25, F
@MoonaNorth86 Mars is in our Solar system, meaning that it get light from our sun as well. A day on Mars has 24 hours.
@MoonaNorth86 wait 12 hours, then it will be dark.
