Sun completely clouded by fog / cloud since 10 minutes before the eclipse

Think of all those m*rons who bought goggles, maybe even paying them 3-4x as much because they waited until the very last minute

I went to watch the sunset too but the eclipse begun after the time of sunset here, but I still went to see it.

We have had clouds come in like that . Totally block the eclipse . Then disappear when over . 🤷‍♂

@Elessar and then you still have to hope it's a real filter, because there's no way to check that. But what makes waiting until the last hours even worse is that the date has been known for over 100 years. 🤣
