I had a meteor hit the edge of my windshield a few years back. Luckily it was small and flat. Shy was gray and I was going slow when I saw it.

@Tastyfrzz One meteorite landed on our farm, in a field my uncle had disced the day before. He was a light sleeper and woke up to see the flash. Knew it had landed nearby and it was about a quarter-mile from our house.

@Tastyfrzz Yes he did, it was not hard to find, it landed in the middle of his disced field which was level and didn’t have ruts or dirt clods. He knew it landed somewhere. Had it landed in the creek or bushes he wouldn’t have found it. It looked like a melted rock with a lot of iron in it.
