Malthus came up with the idea of over population and it became the hobby horse for the UN/Globalists. Kind of like Global Warming. Lots of noise and great fear mongering but few facts. I realised that the world population numbers were fictional decades ago. There is a wonderful book out called The Empty Planet. It discusses the huge drop in birth rate around the world. Few nations are even at replacement levels let alone population growth.
