What that curve doesn't tell you is the effect of immigration. These numbers below hint at the fact that most of the recent population growth in Europe & North America has been due to immigration. The first world is becoming an aging society that needs more and more caregivers, laborers, etc.

I agree with it, yet it has little to do with USA politics on immigration.

The EU has a different situation than the USA.
