Do you think Earth is overpopulated with humans?

Yes. Humans are responsible for damage to the earth and the extinction/slavery of other beings. I think if the human population was reduced to 1 billion, it wpuld give room for a more benevolent species to evolve. Humans rely on murder to survive. We have become so good at fine tuning this we are now capable of mass destruction. Humans are easily currupted by greed so we should not be left to govern ourselves. Look at what we have created. If humans were naturally empathetic we wouldnt have war or famine.
Yes. Humans and their domesticated animals represent the majority of biomass, making up around 96% of all mammals on Earth while wild mammals only account for 4%.
When you take into account how destructive humans are and connect it to this statistic it's not hard to understand why planet Earth is in trouble.

I think a lot of the major urban centers definitely are . I still can’t figure out why people choose to live this way 🤷🏼‍♂

Acreage wise, not in the least. There is plenty of room. If we can make sure our fresh water sources stay clean, then we should be fine.

Yes but I figure we're similar to bacteria or viruses when they over grow and kill the host and kill themselves in the process. Or the Earths immune system will kick in and burn us with a fever.

@NeuroticByNature

That "fever line" caught me by surprise. 😂
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
@calicuz scientifically known as global warming I suppose.

@NeuroticByNature

Well, that's one way to put it. 😅

Yes. There are at least 7 billion too many people.
With a population of 1 billion, the Earth will have a chance to regenerate.
Get rid of all billionaires. Get back to nature and subsistence farming for a more gentler life.

No. Take a trip to Nevada or other places away from cities/metropolitan areas and you will see it is far from that.
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
I can certainly think of a few we could do without

without a doubt.
Absolutely not.
There’s enough room and resources for 100 billion of the 1% didnt own and control everything

yeah, it's true—technically. if you took all 8 billion people and packed them shoulder to shoulder like a concert crowd, they could fit within the city limits of los angeles, which is about 503 square miles.
FreestyleArt · 36-40, M
Yeah but not for long. I think it will go back to 5 billion very soon.
DDonde · 31-35, M
What would that mean?
