As if there isn`t enough junk up there. 🤨

Our future — as a species, as a world — depends on expanding out into the solar system. That's where the resources are that will allow us to stop overusing the limited resources of the planet.
The only way we're going to make that transition is if someone manages to figure out how to make money from going into space. Need a cheaper way to get to orbit? Let someone try to make money doing it. Need an inexpensive way to colonize the moon? Let someone try to make money doing it. Need to set up a self-sustaining mining operation in the asteroid belt? Let someone try to make money doing it.
Billionaires going into space is a publicity stunt, but the technology developed to allow that to happen is a step in the direction of our expansion into the system, which is the only way we're going to survive.
My 2 cents.

Elon wants a neural internet installed in everyone's head so they can only listen to his goofy ideas about AI and making babies on planets that don't have the right gravitational tides.

Shaping up to be a dystopian future. A wasted Earth left to those who have no money to get off.

If they want to ‘fix’ a planet they should start here 👉🏻 🌍

I agree with Bernie. Billionaires shouldn’t exist.

It's a wasteful luxury. I see no future or sense in space colonization. We ought to focus on the idea that we appear on other worlds when we die; that nature works this way.

I think it's cool and interesting to think about, but I know that some people think they could spend their money on better things.
