I should be working, but I've been making a mental list of all the rivers that have run through places I've lived. It is Friday afternoon

That's a lovely name for a river 🙂 I live in the country and there are too many rivers and tributaries to count. My favourite city is Cardiff and the River Taff flies through it.

The North Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan is a Cree word meaning 'Fast Flowing Water' It starts in the glaciers just west of the city and eventually drains into the inland sea called Lake Winnipeg. BTW Winnipeg is also a Cree word and it means "Murky Water".

Closest is a seasonal river, called the San Jacinto river.
It completely dries up during the summer. And follows the earthquake fault of the same name.

Don't have one. Underground basins are the source of our potable water, although I actually use rainwater throughout the house.

It doesn't run through it per se, but the Missouri River is just a hop, skip and a jump away.

It runs right behind my house, it's called the Jackson River.
