I used to go to the Freshwater Bay Yacht Club on the Swan River, Perth and go sailing in races early on Sunday mornings.Never had any experience, just a way to be on the beautiful river. Members would allow novices on board, in the hopes of boosting member numbers? Or simply to see if one would enjoy sailing. Anything similar in your area?
As I look northwards from homeThere is a whole lot of black smoke rising into the air. A long way from where I am, looks to be around Gnangara? Less than 20kms from me. Not a lot of wind today so maybe the fire will be bought under control rapidly. I am in no danger.
