I remember when i was a teen debating whether to try sleeping naked. I was starting to develop an interest in nudism and in bed seemed such a logical place to start. That first morning I woke up without anything on, it was thrilling and I knew i had discovered a lifelong habit. I didn’t make it an every night thing until i went to college, but I haven’t worn anything to bed since.

I started sleeping naked in my teens...until my mother walked into my room unannounced and without knocking (which was typical) and saw me asleep naked and forbid me to ever do it again. I resumed doing it when I moved out on my own in my 20's.....been doing it now for roughly 30 years. If there is a situation or reason I have to wear something, I do not sleep well or comfortably.

I can't sleep with any clothing on. When I have to like in hospital I never sleep properly.

@SW-User A lot of people use that excuse... How often does that happen really? I mean yes it is a possibility, but it is a very remote chance of happening. If it does (and I've thought about it), a person could keep a robe right by the bed to throw on in case of such an emergency. Also in such an emergency, if you had to run out of the house naked nobody would really care...not emergency workers, not neighbors. Somebody would get clothing, a blanket, something to for you to cover up with. All that would be on people's minds is your safety.

@ArishMell Having done winter camping with temperatures around -40 I still never wore clothes. A warm sleeping bag worked.
