@SageWanderer Done that occasionally, and enjoyed it, but then discovered our local woods harbour ticks, which normally feed on the deer or on farm animals in neighbouring fields. I don't want the Lyme Disease the ticks carry!

@ArishMell I have the same here so removing my body hair so there is nothing to grab onto. Also I make a natural repellent from essential oils containing lemon eucalyptus but there are a number of others that can be used.

@samueltyler2 About 20 years ago now, and yes of course. The sand was white anyway, the tide was out. It was actually both friendly and romantic.

@Waveney i take it she was nit a lasting relationship.

@samueltyler2 We were friends on the trip, that's where we met, and we stayed in touch for a bit after but inevitably drifted apart perfectly amicably. :)
