@SW-User It was distant but I don't know how far exactly. Like if there weren't trees and even if the saxophonist wasn't a ghost, I still wouldn't have been able to see them

I would be reluctant to hike in a park at 2am. Too many weird/violent people around. At least I'd want to be armed.

It would be creepier to be the saxophonist, alerting everyone/thing to your whereabouts and giving them a good cover noise to help facilitate an ambush

Was it a melodic sound? ..or just various unrelated tones? Was it following you? ..or was it something you came upon , then it faded away?
