If PDA is decent, discreet and not exaggerated, then I have no problem with it. Like those 2 ladies in your choice of picture, they enjoy each other but still are not excessively obvious.
It also depends on the context, the place and a number of other aspects. It is much better show show affection with the ones you love rather than to make faces or criticize those that have no problem showing they care for each other.
A nice romantic setting on a beach or like here with a sunset as background and this PDA becomes something that everyone should give a try. Not only can it be beautiful but also a motivation for others to come out of their hiding. Love is beautiful and should not be criticized by those that lack of it or understanding for it.
@Metalbarbie I believe that women have less compunction to show emotions in public than men. I believe it has to do with our being overall more emotional, caring and empathic. At least that is how I perceive it.
Men on the other hand would feel that they are perceived as weak if they show emotions. That is a cliche that should have disappeared a long time ago. You can have a tough shell but a soft heart. They are simply too afraid of other male's opinions about displaying emotions.
@Stephie yes usually women are more affectionate and sensual than men. If you would like to chat further so we don't take over the forum you can pm me.
I have no issue with it unless it`s groping and tongue down the throat thing ............ oh wait, I could be over reacting. 😬

this is the exact kind of phrased question you'd get surveyed about while strolling down a mall liek 20+years ago; is how out of touch SW & its living/bot userbase is 'with the times', most everytime
Totally fine with it, within reason. - Keep it classy - Control your urges in public, especially if there are kids around - Keep it "rare", so it continues to be fun
Personally I don’t like to get too handsy in public with someone. Kissing or making out is the limit I’ll go. But I have been groped by strangers in public before
Heck after COVID you can't even shake hands anymore.
It's a totally different world now. Everyone is afraid to even talk to each other. They look at you like your some kind of virus spreading monster, just by talking.
This is not right! And totally unacceptable.
We are social beings. Being social is in our very nature. Which includes all kinds of expressing of affection and being friendly. Like shaking hands is no longer acceptable. That's oh so unacceptable.
It's going to take a lot to overcome this fear. And public displays of affection will have to be one of the ways to overcome the fear of each other.
This physical paranoia of each other is pure insanity.
