You ever have someone sing so out of tune you start questioning if you're even singing the same song?

I love a song so much and had always intended to sing that duet with my friend who is gifted with a real melodious voice and sense of tuning perfectly well.

We happened to sing it once and when I rewinded and listened, i vowed to practice again to give it another shot. I was close to good singing. Not that close though.
