Trump and his camp, for security reasons, have refused all federal funds or official funding, having learned the lessons about government corruption from his first term. Only Trump is addressing the media, so they are getting nothing. Their ratings depend on Trump, so they have latched on to Musk. The liberal hand-wringing over Musk is hilarious.
