@Paladin It used to be that people had legitimate policy differences, but believed in a single set of facts. Now, a large segment of society is so misinformed that they no longer have a factual basis for their beliefs. It is sad, and it is dangerous. When over 30% of the population doesn't even believe the fact that Biden won the election in 2020, we are in dangerous territory.

Like many elections, it will be the 20% in the middle. 40% of the country is the Trump Cult and believes in the Holy Trinity of God, Jesus, and Trump. 40% cannot vote for Trump under any circumstances and will vote for Biden. But there are 20% in the middle. Some do not like Biden but are not Trump Cultists. Others like Trump but don't like that his crimes are being exposed and may not vote for a convicted felon. The election will go the way those people vote in six or seven swing states.
