Why do political candidates in USA say...IF i lose its rigged?

@CheekyBadger So when you have a POTUS on the phone telling a state to FIND me 11000 votes so i dont lose YET not one of his minions think that is wrong... come on now... its recorded ..its played back and he denies he said it..WTF.... yet we can not hold #45 accountable... NOW work with me here.....

How the heck do you account for MILLIONS.... all on one side dem or rep. when those that count votes are a mix of dem and rep(vote counters)... dems dont count votes just for dems and reps dont count votes just for reps. Can you truly imagine what it would take to align ALL of that to actually work. OR am i THAT blind? i think i can see at least a bit.

If i dont like who won #45 i am not crying (well i was when #45 won LOL) but i said he won fair and square and it is what it is...and for some reason his minions just drink up his BS like no other... A person that praises Hitler and loves dictatorship so much that he wants to bring it HERE to USA... yeah NO... you get a total of 8... i dont care who the POTUS is and how good our country is doing you get 8 then get the EFFF out and thank you for doing your job. That is how our system is set up and for someone to try to over throw that ... just red flag after red flag and maybe just maybe #45 minions are the ones with blinders on.

@CheekyBadger OK. But you're talking "if." All that lives beyond a whole lot of firewalls and contingencies. "Is" matters. And the "is" is that there's no evidence to support any kind of fraud or rigging. Anyone believing that rigged elections take place can be discounted immediately as someone who has chosen their beliefs over the facts. There is no gray area.

@Ynotisay i saw evidence of a distinct pattern of behaviour in 2020 in certain places that wasn't conducive to a free and fair election. This ranged from widespread media coverage (or lack thereof) to individual actions taken to manipulate results directly or rules made up by the incumbents that disadvantaged their opposition. Saying that all this didnt happen is effectively calling those who gave witness testimony under oath of such things purjurors. How many of them have been prosecuted for perjury- none that i have heard of. Absence of court cases doesnt mean much, many cases were brought to court but in general courts simply didn't hear these cases that were brought before them for technical reasons. It seemed to me, as an outsider, that allowing these cases to proceed wasn't in the interests of the wider state as it would call into question the way that elections are run.

@midnightrose I suppose its silly to think someone would say, I think it's rigged, but it's better to accept a rigged election and try to fix it then to shut down the kitchen over spilled milk.

Arguably, that's what Gore, Abramson, and maybe even Trump eventually did, sort of, but they all went to different degrees before they moved on.

They get away with it because we, the voters, do not hold them accountable.

@LordShadowfire I hear you, but having known both Republican and Democratic candidates, I really don't believe that most of them believe as much in a conspiracy to silence them or even the beliefs of their supporters as they pretend to.


The Republicans, by and large, at least the ones I know and can relate to, tend to be less bombastic and revolutionary in terms of fighting against liberal/intellectual/globalist conspiracies and more realistic.

Same thing for the Democrats, although I'll confess, I don't pal around with AOC types.

@MistyCee I guess I should have been more specific. Republican voters are more likely to be gullible enough to fall for the conspiracy bullshit. I very much doubt most Republican politicians actually believe what they are spewing.
