Dr. Fauci pleads the 5th 111 times today

Not sure why since he did that since he has a pardon dating back to when he started his gain of function
research at the Wuhan lab where the Virus originated.

My understanding is as follows:

While Fauci has immunity and could probably admit to everything that was revealed in his diaries, that doesn't protect the dozens of staffers he employed who carried out his wishes.

Law enforcement could easily indict other members of his staff and other high level Democrats who helped with the cover up.

It also would give a lot of fodder to the Republicans as they go into the Midterms worried about their re-election chances.

I'm sure it was very uncomfortable for him, but Fauci really had no other choice but to plead the 5th.

He will likely be held in contempt. Not that anything will come of it.

@DogMan Great question, allow me to elaborate:

Having multiple accounts allows him to circumvent blocks so he can still contact and spy on users who have blocked him.

He can "triangulate", as in use multiple accounts to trick someone into thinking he is separate people. He can use one account to befriend someone, and then use what he learned from that account to groom the person with what he learned.

He can use other accounts to engage in perverted activities and fetish play without that impacting his main account.

@SumKindaMunster Thats just weird.

@DogMan Oh @Waveney is apparently quite the weirdo. Someone just sent me a few screenshots of his activity with other fetish users here. It's revolting. 🤢

His pardon was autopen, so invalid
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
@MasterLee hehehe
AdmiralPrune · 46-50, M
Christ how 2020 is this post?
AdmiralPrune · 46-50, M
@emiliya It’s called having a personality, rather than just regurgitating news. You should try it some time.

@AdmiralPrune I know it's not important to the Brits. You have many more important things to worry about....like soccer 😆, but Americans lived through a coverup regarding the origin of Covid 19, the ineffectiveness of the Covid-19 mRNA vaccines, and having people who spoke out on this doxxed, deplatformed, fired, or had their livihoods stripped away for speaking out.

Fauci was likely instrumental in all of this, and he should be investigated thoroughly.
carpediem · M
He's concerned about his image. The country? Nope. His image. He's an evil bastard. The Hannibal Lecter of his time.
emiliya · 26-30, F
@carpediem
The Hannibal Lecter of his time.

Hannibal Lecter is no Fauci.
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@carpediem Hey! Don't disparage Hannibal Lecter by comparing him to Anthony Fauci. 😆
Nothing says
Trust the science like pleading the 5th..

This is deeper than the rat.
Protect fauci, you protect Obama, CIA, Ukraine biolabs, illegal research

@DogMan Ah we've gone from "here's the evidence" to "COVID was a gift to Democrats" in record time. That's usually the point where facts leave the room and conspiracy theories take over.

If your argument now depends on mind-reading millions of people and claiming they all "know" something you can't prove, you've stopped making a case and started working for FOX.

If only Trump had made a better fist of things, maybe he would have got re-elected. But he didn't even believe in COVID for several months. That's not our fault.

DogMan · 61-69, M
@Waveney You are missing the point. Scientists and doctors around the world were cancelled if
they did not adhere to the Fauci/Democrat narrative. Fauci admits he didn't know what to do, but
he refused advice from anyone, including virologists.

experts were de-platformed for saying the virus could not come from a wet market.

Think for yourself for a change and stop being so partisan. I have no doubt that you believed
EVERYTHING Fauci and the Democrats said, and called everything everyone else said, a conspiracy.

That is total partisan ignorance.
DogMan · 61-69, M
Has anyone else noticed that ever since Covid started, it had only been people on the right that
have been interested in finding out WHY and HOW Covid started?

Not one Democrat is interested in getting to the bottom of what happened.

It makes me think they are protecting something, or someone.

Fauci's pre-emptive pardon goes all the way back to 2014, what was happening in 2014 that
he needs protection from?
SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
@DogMan Yeah I have been pointing out this glaring hypocrisy a lot.

If it's Trump or a Republican, any assertation, no matter how ridiculous, disproven, or put forth by someone with no credibility, they believe it as gospel.

But if it's someone they support politically, suddenly they need notarized documents, sworn statements, video evidence and complete and full investigations into the matter, or they dismiss it out of hand.

Like a broken record huh?
Waveney · M
So what? Isn't pleading the 5th a constitutional right?

It's also clear that this is a witch hunt designed to expose him to criminal liability and/or perjury allegations rather than attempting to establish the facts.

Which, as we know, are anathema to the GOP.

(P.S. His gain of function research at the Wuhan lab is not established fact either)

@sunsporter1649 He didn't lie. Trump is the man responsible. He didn't even believe the virus existed.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Waveney Last sentence: see my prior comment on your prior fantasy comment.

He is a terrified old man whose ego can never allow him to be honest with himself or others.
