After President Trump’s first month in office, border encounters are down. Way down. Ninety-six percent down. From around 300,000 in December 2023 under President Joe Biden, to just 8,300 in February 2025. The number averaged just under 300 a day last month, constituting “the lowest month in recorded history,” according to the chief of the Border Patrol
@eMortal Do you have those numbers? I heard it went down a smidge during the campaign, and went down more after the election. But nothing even close to January and February and beyond.
Yep. Liberals screamed up and down that they couldn't do a thing about the border if they didn't get the border bill passed (80% of the funding was for Ukraine & Israel). Blamed Trump for convincing the GOP not to pass it. Then Biden increased security at the border right before the election so the numbers would look better for Harris. Democrats hate America.
Lets get real here. Lower border crossing numbers are because America is fast becoming the kind of country even desperate people dont want to live in..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman yes I helped elect him, I agree with him on illegals! His stance on immigration is what caused the low border crossings. Before he got into office illegals swarmed the border while Biden was still president and all his policies and benefits were still available for them.
@specman Illegals are a problem, although we can discuss how much. But they are needed by the US economy, which wont function without them. The problem could be solved in a year if they had the genuine will to do it. But business profits would suffer..😷
The great and powerful Joe Biden, whose powers include reaching out from the beach and the ice cream store, and performing each and every act that Donald Trump THINKS he is doing. OBVIOUSLY Trump is deluded...🤣🤣🤣
