Crazy world

Russia uses their threat of Nuclear War, and does anything they want and the rest of the world does nothing to stop them. Then China joins them, and makes similar crazy connotations. And then there is North Korea, launching ICBM's into Japan, and then threatening the US with war if they shoot any of them down, and the US, being sheep, just let all this happen.
Now the good thing is, Russia is losing/has lost, a lot of their best fighters/commanders in Ukraine over the past year, and the US hasn't lost a single man, but China is also playing that game, waiting to be dominant in the Ocean before making their move on Taiwan, and they certainly have a much bigger army. If war starts, it almost certainly has to become nuclear quickly, it will be the only way the US can compete. So how long do we all have left on this earth? Days? Months? Years?

The second statement quite proves wrong the first.

The US/West isn't involved in fighting and doesn't have to involve itself so long as its territorial integrity is not violated. All what can be done and that doesn't constitute an act of war is being done.

No more and no less than you always had. The world can end next hour, or it could end thousand years after your death. Not worth worrying about that until it'll be the time, and even there, my only concern would be finding the quickest way to go out.
Anyone seen anything about the war in Yemen recently?
Or Syria?
An Australian news site was warning of war with China yesterday.
Britain was warning we are so short of ammunition after giving it to Ukraine we would struggle to defend ourselves if under attack.
Remember the catalyst that caused existing tensions to explode into WW1....I have been saying for years we are in a similar situation.
At the moment Russia are pre-occupied but if they start making progress we are all in trouble.

The actual threat from China is, I believe, overstated. There is no doubt they were watching how Ukraine went and were hopeful Russia would take it easily and the world would move on. That would give them courage to make a move on Taiwan.

The fact that Ukraine has not gone well for Russia and that the West is grinding the Russian economy into dust with sanctions is going to be a strong deterrent for China. The longer the West backs Ukraine despite the pain caused by sanctions on Russian oil, natural gas, and pot ash, the scarier taking direct military actions becomes for China.

All that on top of China's demographic problems and the economic challenges imposed by the pandemic means they are already in risky territory without upsetting the global community.

There is a lot more in play than military might. And China has a long ass way to go to rival US naval capacity in the Pacific.

most people don't believe nuclear war is inevitable. or that if it does start, Russia or China will be the cause.

I'm looking to players like North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, india . ..
No -. Just a certain falling crazy empire is crazed and war is your only trick. Only you.

I don't think it would rapidly turn into nuclear war. That's a line nobody wants to cross because it's suicidal.
