I Hate War

Yes I wanted intervention in Syria.

No I did not want it in the form of a cruise missile.

Nor do I think sending soliders marching across the country with machine guns is a great idea either.

Ok i feel ya but ask how to intervein then what do you suggest ? Say please?
Roadtrip · 36-40, M
Smack al-Assad on the ass and call it even. 😄

Killing an enemy only creates more enemies. The killing has to stop somewhere or else it's just a vicious cycle. First we have to try and understand that part of the world, the culture and the people without trying to forcefully make them live the way we think they should. And it was about OIL. That's why they want to go into Syria. It's not about who is in charge so much as its about fucking money

Waging war on terrorists is only creating more terrorists. War is an endless cycle of violence and death. Ending it won't be simple but nothing worth doing ever is.

@Kaosu: im not convinced world peace is even possible honestly but there has to be a better way honestly maby go back to gladiator like warfare with swords would slow it down
Kaosu · 36-40, M
I doubt true peace is possible. There are always going to be those who want to burn everything. But yes there is a better way. I think that would be a very good idea. Only instead of armies go back to the days of one on one combat. Each side picks a warrior to represent it, whoever wins is in the right. Kind of the political equivalent to "Trial By Combat" as it were

I'm not sure the intervention in Syria was aimed at doing anything at all to help the plight of the Syrians, but instead to send a message to Russia.
Alabamarednek · 36-40, M
This is a matter of wagging the dog and part of the ever waged war against the poor and working middle class both here in America and around the world. The ultimate victims in Syria are the poor as they are the targets of their own government and the war by the American government being used to distract us as all people from the real problem at all.

The super rich versus the non super rich and the poor domestic politics. As for chemical weapons on own people teargas is a chemical weapon that law enforcement use against poor communities that stand up aLloyd the time. What about the native Americans at standing rock.

Yes their are people who need to be brought to justice. It should start with politicians, and law enforcement officers carrying out acts of terror right here in America including the Morton countyou sheriff and his deputies in North Dakota.
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Fuck it. Let's just kill everyone else in the world that's not American, not white and does not share our values or pray to the same magic man in the sky as most delusional white people. Everyone wants fucking war so god damn bad, you can have it. I hope you all fucking kill each other.
Roadtrip · 36-40, M
Take off the Guy Fawkes mask. It's embarrassing.
Kaosu · 36-40, M
@Roadtrip: Go fuck yourself
Kaosu · 36-40, M
@melovemycats: And lets just over look the fact that 45 violated the Constitution by taking unilateral military action against Syria a country we are not actively at war with. And all these newscasters praising the "beauty of our weapons". Jesus launch a few cruise missiles and American's nut their fucking pants.
Noble · 56-60, M
The USA strike was poorly executed with short-sided objectivity.
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Ding ding ding
melovemycats · 26-30, F
I kind of agree, but we don't seem to have any alternatives.
Alabamarednek · 36-40, M
Keep in mind. The reason so many tomahawk missiles were used is because Donald Trump is heavily invested in Raytheon the company that currently makes tomahawk missiles.
