I Hate War

Yes I wanted intervention in Syria.

No I did not want it in the form of a cruise missile.

Nor do I think sending soliders marching across the country with machine guns is a great idea either.

Killing an enemy only creates more enemies. The killing has to stop somewhere or else it's just a vicious cycle. First we have to try and understand that part of the world, the culture and the people without trying to forcefully make them live the way we think they should. And it was about OIL. That's why they want to go into Syria. It's not about who is in charge so much as its about fucking money
Whyme · 46-50, M
Ok a culture of people that have been forced for generations how do you interveine without force thats what they know ???? Or just leave em be as long as there just killin each other
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Oh yes because our interventions of force in Iraq and Afghanistan were such RESOUNDING successes and those countries are just hunky dory now.

Perhaps explore any and every other option that does not involve MURDERING OTHER HUMANS
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Kaosu: ok again what do you suggest? Whats your answer ? Or do you just want to crisisize? My answer is pull out fuck em let em kill each other stop buying there oil n starve them out till they wanna talk if they attack us on our ground in any way fuck em carpet bomb the place make a fuckin parking lot
Kaosu · 36-40, M
I already said it. Talk, try and understand, SHOW RESPECT for a different culture and find middle ground. But neanderthals like you with that "fuck it kill them all" shit is why we are so fucking divided as a species.
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Kaosu: talk has worked wonderfull with the middle east hasnt it ? All they know is war all they respect is strength you go in there with you gee golly lets talk bs and we will be attacked again
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Oh yes and waging war on them for the last ten years has done a whole lot of good in that department hasn't it? Maybe the talk don't work because we walk in there big stick walking tall fucking bad ass and DEMAND, and try and FORCE them to change their entire culture over night. COMPROMISE, MIDDLE GROUND, MUTUAL BENEFIT. Not "What America wants and fuck you and what you want" attitude that our so called politicians and great leaders have
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Kaosu: you are right to an extent but i dont see the middle ground i dont i think you either show force or pull out completely and let em sort there own shit out
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Middle Ground: We're human, They're human, We love our families, they love their families, we want to be happy, they want to be happy. We don't want people walking through our country with machine guns and murdering our people (even though we do have that, they're called the Police) neither do they. How hard could it be to find an arrangement that we all benefit from?
Whyme · 46-50, M
Do you not see there is a huge difference in cultures and respect levels ? Really ? Send a female to negotiate and see what happens so forget that were all human bullsit and you know it
Kaosu · 36-40, M
That narrow minded approach is why we are where we are. Its not hard for me, an unapologetic Atheist to get along with a Muslim, or a Christian even though I think both are delusional nut jobs talking to their imaginary friend in the clouds but hey... I'm open minded to other people and cultures
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Instead of focusing on what makes us different and drives us apart the thing is you have to look at the things that make us the same and bring us closer together.
Whyme · 46-50, M
Ok would you send your daughter to negotiate ? If you say yes i will call you a lier
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Irrelevant as since I do not have a daughter I can't provide an honest answer to that question.
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Kaosu: fair enough but even you must admit the culture in the west is drastically different and the way countries must communicate isnt all the same yes peace should be the ultimate goal but the road there isnt allways paved
Kaosu · 36-40, M
You're right, the culture is different I'm not disputing that. That's why I'm saying we have to form some kind of basic understanding so we can engage in a way that does not involve paving the road to peace with the bodies of men, women and children of all ages, colors and beliefs. We only make peace with our enemies which is why it's called making peace, but the killing has to stop before we can start that process. But all I'm hearing is praise for launching missiles into a country we're not even officially at war with, over looking the fact that 45 violated the Constitution by taking unilateral action.
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Kaosu: i dont praise it and i didnt praise the government arming rebels to take over lybia i did however praise the war on terrorists but its honestly a war that cant be won
Kaosu · 36-40, M
Waging war on terrorists is only creating more terrorists. War is an endless cycle of violence and death. Ending it won't be simple but nothing worth doing ever is.
Whyme · 46-50, M
@Kaosu: im not convinced world peace is even possible honestly but there has to be a better way honestly maby go back to gladiator like warfare with swords would slow it down
Kaosu · 36-40, M
I doubt true peace is possible. There are always going to be those who want to burn everything. But yes there is a better way. I think that would be a very good idea. Only instead of armies go back to the days of one on one combat. Each side picks a warrior to represent it, whoever wins is in the right. Kind of the political equivalent to "Trial By Combat" as it were
