Trump now wants to 'sieze' Kharg Island and control Iran's oil exporting

Dunno how Trump will just 'take' it. But he probably thinks he can justify it by saying how the oil terminal set up by Amoco was 'taken' by Iran in 1979.

The Island was never US territory. Neither was the smaller (uninhabited) one just north of it.

There are 6 pipelines joining the oil terminal on Kharg to the Iranian mainland.

@whowasthatmaskedman The megalomaniac dead-set on using the Donroe Doctrine to expand the US sovereign territory already wants Greenland, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Gaza and Venezuela.

The island has a whole city, plus a one runway airport and Iran's main oil export terminal.

@zonavar68 Empires don't last for ever. Over history their existences have generally been shorter than their predecessors. This one won't start, let alone end.
