Do you think the Medieval words of a Catholic cleric still relevant military policy today?

When asked about killing innocent bystanders in the Albigensian Crusade in the south of France, a Catholic cleric, abbot or bishop, said when the military were killing everyone, 'don't worry God will sort out his own', meaning, kill everyone those who are innocent as well as those guilty, God will pick out his people from the Satan's.

The blanket bombing of Vietnam, and before that the nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, where there were Christian congregations, and in Tonkin in northern Vietnam, didn't stop the 'christian' forces from America and Australia, the West, from killing everyone, and the suicide bombers of militant Islam don't seem to worry about innocent Muslim bystanders among the Jewish population of Israeli towns and cities (and elsewhere), it's not about innocent bystanders, it's about destruction, being an indication of resolve. It doesn't matter if you're Americans, British, Israeli, Zionist, Muslim, or Hamas, your resolve to wreak havoc is all that matters!

The news media talks about the poor Gazans, but they neglected to speak about the innocent Iraqis or Afghanis, in the recent Western wars, but oh, if Israeli 'bites' back against those seeking to annihilate them it is morally wrong, and the shame on Israeli self-defence MUST be called out!!

What is that known as? HYPOCRISY!!!!!

Killing 10 000s of thousands of people of whom most are women and children after most of the hostages are returned isn't "biting back", it's genocide.

@basilfawlty89 "Most"?? Did you flunk math? Hamas took over 200 hostages and "As of 6 April 2024, 133 hostages remained in captivity in the Gaza Strip, 129 of whom had been abducted on 7 October 2023; the other four hostages having been captured earlier." That's assuming numbers of them haven't been murdered to keep them silent about their torture and rape.

@basilfawlty89 Looks like you flunked reading as well.

@EarthlingWise ah, the classic "dude has a typo so that discounts the argument,". Are all you Pro-Israel crowd trained to only use deflection?

Answer me this, what was the ICJ ruling on Gaza. What did the Lemkin Institute say?
@basilfawlty89 " most of the hostages are returned " that's a long typo.

@EarthlingWise a majority have, do you know percentages work?

You are aware Israel themselves in cross fire killed some of the hostages. But of course that's gonna be s source of deflection.

Answer me this, did the ICJ find the Genocide in Gaza likely? Answer the question.
@basilfawlty89 I am informed, Sir, of political games. You don't really care about facts, you're accusing people of being racist without knowing them. Racism, I'm sorry to report, is not a white thing, you can find it everywhere.
@basilfawlty89 Not sure the term "likely" features in the ICJ ruling. Actually, and for all it's worth, ICJ President Judge Joan Donoghue did not state that there had been a genocide ; the court demanded measures to prevent a genocide from happening.
I hate the fact innocent people are killed in this war, but contrary to pro-Palestinian groups, I do not stand by fascist religious squads that are intoxicated with hatred and violence. This violence is inherent in their ideology, it exists in a continuum of atrocities committed towards Jewish people, with a predilection for sexual abuse towards women.
