Washington wants war with China. The oligarths and sociopaths who own and rule the US are too clueless to realize much of the country's industry was outsourced to China over the past forty years. The US has screwed up the middle east, is destroying Ukraine to hurt Russia and has Asia in their sights.

War is quite profitable.

@Crazywaterspring War on the right terms is profitable. War against a significant power on the other side of the planet where your carrier groups are sitting targets for the most basic attacks are unprofitable and political suicide and both sides of government know it. In such a case America only has the all or nothing option and they wont go all in for Taiwan..😷
