You know who is damn thrilled about the Military industrial complex right now??? Ukraine. Ask em how many planes, bombs, tanks and rifles they have received courtesy of the US taxpayers.

The sales of arms has always been a part of the military ( government)/industrial complex. The actions you cite are geopolitical issues involving many factors such as influence, money, natural resources and alliances. You understand that, right? As for Africa, we ( The U.S.) like China are engaged in non military involvement in Africa.
This is the reality of the world we live in.

The American Military Industrial Complex is one of the most powerful lobbying groups in Washington. They THROW money at our politicians in order to convince them that wars are the way to go.

That is why they were SO upset when Trump said it was time to end the war in Afghanistan and withdraw our troops, why Biden tried so hard to screw that up, and that is why BIden almost immediately jumped into the war in Ukraine with both feet first.

So...we do know about this...and we have no more control over it than a baby has over whether or not it gets fed.

It's a joke...on everyone. Our present government wants to declare unhappy parents who don't like their school boards to be TERRORISTS.

But I think you are missing the MAJOR player in Africa...China.

They have already moved in to MOST African nations with their belt and road initiatives, and they are in a good position to OWN the continent.

There's a lot of corruption in the world unfortunately .. innocent people suffer because of people's greed who are in power and don't care about others

The same applies to any country that sells arms to the crazies of whatever brand. At present China seems to be the greatest exploiter of African countries.

It’s funny how people view usa only as a country that sells weapons to those “ evil” countries and not the evil country that use them the most.
Usa have bombed far more people places and countries than saudi ever did.
