someone finally had enough of those idiotic protestors blocking the roads

guy shot 2 of them.
I would like to say i am shocked but nope not at all. Was only a matter of time before those clowns got seriously hurt.
Surprised it took this long.
Now maybe these unemployed deadbeats will do something productive with their lives and not block roads anymore

Yeah, if someone inconveniences you, you should have the right to kill them.

It was recently pointed out to me that some SWers really like to advertise that they're bad people and boy, that is true.

@wildbill83 you have a fucked up view of morality. And an alarming disregard for human life. Please go to therapy.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@Scribbles no, I have a pragmatic view of morality and no tolerance for "woke" behavior: I'd suggest therapy for you, but it would be inhumane for any therapist to have to listen to your bullshit...🤔
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@wildbill83 It is not pragmatic to shoot protestors for being in the way.
If folks stand in front of cars, they shouldn’t be surprised to wake up with tread marks across their face.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy fortunately, we're allowed to run them over in NC without being held liable...🤔
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy
If folks stand in front of cars, they shouldn’t be surprised to wake up with tread marks across their face.
So, you would eagerly run over cops standing in front of you.

wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@Diotrephes they're usually smart enough to not be standing in the middle of the road to begin with...
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
these stop oil people are the antithesis of sentience, they behave without any intelligence or awareness; they're like rabid animals, and should be put down as such... 🤔
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@wildbill83 What,you mean kill them?

Oh, they certainly display no intelligence or awareness: the more rabid their waffle the less I believe they learnt any of the basic science and engineering principles from a combination of school education, personal experience and general knowledge.

Do they know the difference and relationship between energy and power? Could they even name more than one or two type of energy, and tell us the common, primary nature of all energy?

Do they know what crude oil provides apart from fuels - and the glue with which they stick themselves to things?

Do they know the principle of efficiency in engineering terms?

Or why, until a suitable, satisfactory and sustainable alternative becomes standard; why and how coal is still used to "make" iron - why not steel - and which third mineral is necessary to that process, for what purpose?

Which types of "plastics" are environmentally harmful, and how?

If we "just stopped oil" could we still manufacture, install and maintain the types of wind-powered alternators and associated transmission equipment used now, to the same standard, especially off-shore?

.... And many more simple, basic facts.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@ArishMell We are literally made out of carbon, and our entire society is literally made out of oil & it's byproducts

any "thing" that thinks we can simply do away with both is of absolutely no benefit to humanity. Killing them would be more of a favor than an act of malevolence.

On the other hand, they're more than welcome to shed themselves of any reliance on oil (their homes, their cars, the clothes they wear, etc.), and go live under a rock somewhere and eat their own shit (that contains carbon too, "net zero" remember...) 🤔
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@wildbill83 Oh, yes, they certainly are hypocrites as well as ignorant.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
I agree such protestors are idiots, "unemployed deadbeats" or not; but are you supporting cold-blooded murder?
Torsten · 36-40, M
@ArishMell im saying they put themselves is harms way and disrupted the lives of others. I seen a video where they were blocking traffic and not letting a women who was on her way to hospital get through. I have zero sympathy for those people
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Torsten I've no sympathy for them at all, but nor have I any time for the lout who shot them.
4meAndyou · F
It's quite obvious to me...there is not enough home made mead in the world. If there were, the protestors all would have been at home, pleasantly drunk...☺️☺️☺️
Torsten · 36-40, M
@4meAndyou if only haha but those people are probably the type to start protesting bout people taking honey away from bees
4meAndyou · F
@Torsten Oh, THAT is a sad lot of sad clowns...🤣🤣🤣
Torsten · 36-40, M
@4meAndyou very much so 😆
Scribbles · 36-40, F
Yeah, I should totally have the right to shoot and destroy/kill anything or anyone that slightly inconveniences or disrupts my routine. It's their fault for protesting something I don't think is worth it. And their fault for endangering themselves by being in my path. Perhaps if they didn't look like unemployed deadbeats they wouldn't be asking to get shot?

I totally get that it can be frustrating when you have to work in a area where protests are happening, or you get stuck in the midst of it and some protestors can act like idiots at times....and maybe you need to be at the hospital or something. But it doesn't make shooting acceptable as a problem solving strategy here.

🤦🏻‍♀️ffs.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
You think making wealthy people wealthier, while they strip us of our basic rights to home ownership and equitable lifestyles all in the name of greed is productive?
You seem to be trying to justify and validate this kind of action by saying that these people should expect to be hurt or that some of them were in the way of emergencies but speak plainly.

Do you approve of their murders, yes or no?
Torsten · 36-40, M
and if police actually did their job and arrested those fools instantly, all of this never would have happened, but instead they get a slap on the wrist and they think they can just do whatever they please, now they know they cant.. Actions have consequences. This time it was being shot, the next time it could be people not stopping their cars when they sit on the roads..
Either way, dont block roads and you wont get hurt
@Torsten

You're speaking out both sides of your mouth.
You claim not to condone the murders but also say that the victims were morons who should have expected it and also it will be a good thing going forward that they were murdered because other morons might worry about getting murdered.

Ridiculous.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Pikachu no im just giving you a answer that you dont like.
yes sitting on a busy highway is a great way to get yourself killed. Blocking busy highway traffic is a great way to prevent people from seeking medical attention they desperately need, getting to work on time to keep their jobs in order for them to survive.. But yeah lets put more concern for the morons causing all this nonsense out of their own free will.

There are consequences to all actions and if you go out of your way to possibly cause harm to others, expect others to retaliate in extreme ways to put a end to it fast.

Now if thats not a good enough answer for you, i really dont give a shit. Move on for all i care
TheGreatLeveler · 31-35, M
It's always a bright idea to piss off other people for no apparent reason 🤦‍♀️
Torsten · 36-40, M
@TheGreatLeveler yeah very bright indeed
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
By this same measure, would you support my inclination to smash the headlamps and windscreens of the various vehicles that are half parked on the pavement outside my home, inconveniencing anyone who wishes to walk to the shops and park and endangering the safety of children, wheelchair users, and parents with buggies and prams?
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@SunshineGirl That's a problem along my one-way street, built when cars were rare and owned only by the well-off; but it is understandable as otherwise vehicles like ambulances and refuse-lorries would struggle to get though. Or they might but the road is also used by van-drivers who think the National Speed-Limit applies.

My own car is deliberately small for parking reasons; but for some strange reason we get people moving in with large vans or very large BMW or Mercedes estates. If you want to own a big car like those, buy a home with a drive!

It's far worse along the main road though. There is a long stretch with pavements wide enough to park completely on them, legally or not, but if close to the kerb it still allows safe passages even for those massive all-terrain push-chairs, Grandad-racer invalid-carriages and grown men illegally riding electric motorcycles on the pavements. Most vehicles are parked there like that but we still regularly see cars and vans centrally on the pavements, outside the empty drives of homes whose fairly generous front gardens have been replaced with paving for parking at least two cars on.

I would drive right through them, fearing for my life of course.

Not saying it’s right. Just saying I understand it. @Torsten

It's proud peasent attitudes like this that make sure the status-quo remains and the people remain powerless under the owner and rent seeking class.
