Only if the USA, USSR, UK, France, etc. gives up theirs. Nuclear disarmament must be total and universal.

But that will never happen while there is a race to harness nuclear power for electricity generation and the 'new race' is creating fusion reactors.

Militarised governments of which the USA is the chief protagonist will not let nuclear go away. It would require scrapping all the nuclear powered subs and other military ships to start with. No US president (not even Trump should that megalomaniac become Fake President again) would consider that as a valid military strategy in the current 'new cold war' that's going on.

Even Australia is joining the nuclear bandwagon now via AUKUS. We do not have any nuclear power stations and only one functioning nuclear reactor at Lucas Heights near Sydney.

North Korea already has nukes.

Iran agreed to halt high level enrichment as part of Obama's "Iran Deal" but Trump broke the deal and Iran returned to their high level enrichment processes. FWIW, natural U contains 0.7% U235; reactor grade is 3-5% U235, and weapons grade is 90% U235. You can design a reactor to breed plutonium 235 and build weapons from it too.

Whichever path Iran is following, it's just a matter of time once they restarted enrichment.

I think think a lot of people should be stopped from doing a lot of things but its not like we can stop them ..

I think any country seeking to violate anti-proliferation conventions currently in place should be prevented from doing so.
