In my opinion, the pyramids of Giza (and probably other pyramids that one can find on virtually every continent) were nothing more than the ancient's equivalent to the vanity projects we now so often indulge in, like "the world's tallest skyscraper".
Why do we do it? Because we can, and because those who spend their money on such projects have egos almost as large as the constructions they construct.
Anyway, the 'Professor Simon' channel is usually quite good, even though I've heard that he isn't actually a professor (he just used to profess to be one). And he's absolutely correct about what he says here too, because it is rather odd that usually when an extravagant claim like this is made, the one(s) making the claim are always so very reluctant to reveal any details that could actually confirm or refute whatever it is they are claiming. That, on its own, is already highly suspicious, a major red flag.

I don't for a second believe it was a tomb.

Remarkable preservation...
Those ancient Egyptians really knew
how to make a mummy last. 😲
