Do people never tire of playing the victim? Maybe your short comings are your fault, nobody else is to blame.

Trauma is trending these days. Being happy and content is square. People need to appear edgy and being a victim provides the requisite darkness that creates an enigmatic persona.

No they never seem to, it's their validation and they always find way to justify their "poor little me" instead of getting some honest self awareness.

Even if it wasn't the "victim's" fault, one should gradually learn to grow out if it. Victim mentality keeps one trapped in their circumstances.
