@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Now that’s an interesting point. All the craziest sounding theories are only really mentioned by fringe YouTube accounts and Alex Jones. Do people really believe things like lizard people or are these just to lend an air of discredabity to the idea of a conspiracy theory?
Kind of like intelligence agencies encouraging people attaching aliens to ufo sightings because that largely discredited them to the public.

Alex Jones has a big platform and no doubt many self-proclaimed conspiracy theorists who watch his show share the same belief about lizard people. It’s worth mentioning it as a discredit but only towards the nonsensical aspect of some conspiracy theories, not all conspiracy theories out there.

Like Straylight said, there should be a distinction between conspiracy theories and just crackpot ideas. There are conflicts within your community, it seems.
