I’ve been asked whether Trump will be able to serve the full four years. Here is my overview of where we stand on February 8, 2025

I’d say it’s a coin flip. I’m hoping for at least two so the force of his personality is maximized. In the event for some sad reason Vance had to be sworn in that only increases the very strong likelihood that Vance wins by a landslide in 2028. In many ways Vance was a huge asset to Trump during the campaign. He passed along the same Trump message in a more polite, polished, calm and rational manner. Much more acceptable demeanorwise to the voters looking for that. Using cal, poise, reason, facts, humor and smarts to destroy the inept babbling (insert your favorite Uncle Fester/ Don Rickles image here) Walz locked the election down for Trump. Chance presented the best of all four candidates (although those wanting red meat got it from Trump. The dims have plenty of time between now and 2036 (after two Vance terms are completed) to dream up with something different to present to the voters. It’s baffling that they haven’t acknowledged their 2024 strategy was disastrous and at least until now have been crazily doubling down on it post election. Even a kindergartner is able to see that is only helping Trump. IF the dims were smart (a huge stretch at this point) Mrs Clinton, Cortez, Pelosi, Schumer, the cast of the View would all be muzzled and rendered speechless and everyone working for a MSM entity (of the than FOX) would be replaced with producers, decision makers, writers, on screen talent that would do straight down the middle factual reporting only. That would help voters forget the disasters that put Trump into office and continue to make the public support all things Trump. Of course the waste and corruption being unearthed isn’t helping the dims either. However having the bright line separation I outlined above will give the dims 12 years for the public to forget and the dims to create an entirely new presentation.

Great question and yes, Trump will serve out his present full term in office as President. In addition, may the House Joint Resolution to amend the Constitution allowing Presidents to be elected for up to (but no more than three terms) be passed. This would allow Trump to serve an additional 3rd term via amending of the 22nd Amendment.*

Meanwhile the disposition of the radical political Left that sought, in every way possible - legal or illegal, to undermine and attack Trump re-earning the presidency must be finalized. Corrupt as they have become, what's left of the abomination characterized in the public domain as the Circus Left's Clown Show being worthy of a science fiction horror Tale of Woe, the decimated and broken Left will eventually crawl out of its self-defeating drug-induced daze like a Hunter Biden cocaine-driven withdrawal while sitting at a church pew in a Sunday morning haze.

Dim-witted and half-cognizant, the Circus Left's self-induced schizoid embolism caused by weirdo associations having cleared away, they will finally realize full bore the message loudly and clearly announced to them through a national bullhorn (2024 Election mandate) - America doesn't want them whatsoever, in any form.

Therefore logic dictates they'll eventually move towards the political center if they want to survive as a coherent party. However, by then the country will have moved so far past them through successful inroads economically, politically, academically, culturally, in business, etc... in every way that their feeble attempt at re-unification will only have delayed the inevitable - their demise in the next general election. What's left of their 'party' will utterly dissolve. What rises from the ashes will take up the frail and infirm remains and likely be absorbed by the Green party and other small fry parties.

Good riddance as the dark is made to give way to the light and Godspeed to our bright future with new horizons. May many books be written on exactly what not to do if you want to survive as a legitimate party. May the demise of the DemonRat party be as vampires disappear before sunlight, while the chains of a million demons bound in Hell welcome them to their permanent safe space.

Yes, DJT will fully serve.

@PatKirby While I echo your hope that the things you describe come to pass,Trump has already said that he doesn't want another term,and ,as much as I admire and respect him,I think that's for the best.The Presidency is bigger than any one man,and there are two very adequate successors in both J.D Vance and Ron Desantis.

Excellent analysis. Wish I had written that sir. @PatKirby
Trump has 10X the energy of the typical teenager. I think he's in good health given his age. Assassination attempts are less likely now that he has competent security, along with instructions to destroy with prejudice should someone do the unthinkable. No reason to think he won't fulfill the entire term.
@DavidT8899 Not crazy at all. Trump possesses many attributes of our greatest presidents. The man is truly amazing.

@BizSuitStacy And to think that he wasnt a lifelong politician!Or maybe that's a part of why he's so effective......

NOT being a lifelong politician is what has given him the high ground he is smartly using to fix the United Stares broken by the dims. @DavidT8899

BREAKING: Donald Trump's nominee for FBI Director gets hit with a stunning scandal as it's revealed that he was paid $25,000 by a Russian-linked company to appear in a propagandistic "documentary" in which he demanded the closing of the FBI's headquarters.
And it gets so much worse...
Kash Patel, a noted conspiracy theorist and diehard Trump loyalist, was paid the sum in question by the film company Global Tree Pictures, which is owned by a Russian national.
The company has produced content pushing the Kremlin's anti-Western and anti-democratic views. One of their previous projects was a pro-Russian propaganda campaign that received money directly from a fund created by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
The disturbing revelation came after The Washington Post obtained documents outlining the payment to Patel.
In return for the cash, Patel sold out his country by appearing in a conspiracist documentary that pathetically claimed that there was a Deep State plot which "destroyed the lives of those who stood by Donald Trump in an attempt to remove the democratically elected president from office."
The six-part series was called "All the President’s Men: The Conspiracy Against Trump" and aired on Tucker Carlson's online network. Carlson has been a noted defender of Putin's Russia and regularly pushes Kremlin talking points.
Perhaps most disturbingly, Patel stated in the documentary that he plans to "shut down the FBI headquarters building and open it up as a museum to the ‘deep state.’"
Ending the FBI has long been at the top of the Kremlin's wishlist, as the Bureau regularly foils Russian intelligence operations and fights against oligarch corruption.
If Trump gets his way, the man who wants to destroy the FBI will be entrusted with leading it.

@jackjjackson

I don't think the field will be as large as in past years. I think it will be more like 2008, with only three or four candidates at most going into Iowa and New Hampshire. Sanders, Warren and Klobuchar will pass.

Newsom will get in it if Harris does not. Otherwise, I think he passes.

Harris, if she runs, will have a serious financial advantage. At least initially. That should ward off the nonsensical contenders like Buttigieg, Bloomberg, Williamson, etc.

The serious contenders besides Harris will be Governors Shapiro and Whitmer.

Harris' chances will depend much on how the Trump administration is perceived after the mid-terms.

@jackjjackson

May I remind you what you wrote in May 2023?

Dems are morally corrupt
Feinstein and Fetterman still being alleged Senators is an east fact to start with. Those who disagreed have established their own corrupt morality

https://similarworlds.com/news/4717614-Dems-are-morally-corrupt-Feinstein-and-Fetterman-still-being

Now, you say, Fetterman exhibits, "common sense"?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Strangely enough after he recovered from going Gaga Fetterman is a new and changed man. God is good. @beckyromero
