More info on the attempted Assassination of Candidate Trump

Some things are not “adding up”.

The rifle that the shooter used was not an everyday, run of the mill, Walmart special. Nor was it a hunting rifle. It was a military-grade sniper rifle that is extremely expensive. It is priced at more than $12,000. Where did a 20 year old punk get that kind of money?

Let us not jump to conclusions until we have the facts. All these theories are causing nothing but more vitriol to spread.
Northwest · M
Did you let the FBI know?
Northwest · M
@sree251 you got it from the FSB?
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Northwest What is FSB?

Ah and so the conspiracy theories start crawling out of the wood work..
What are you even suggesting?
Where did a 20 year old punk get that kind of money?
The DNC.

@NoThanksLeon Learn what? That your tinfoil hat is cutting off circulation to your brain?
@LordShadowfire Awwww. Have I reduced you also to impulsive personal insult attempts? 🤣

If it's a death instrument worth that much, the custom builder knows the name of the guy who commissioned its build and owns it.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
I've read it was an AR-15 style weapon that costs about $850.
Americans don't connect this to their gun problem. They're brain addled from coast to coast.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Roundandroundwego This is not a gun problem for Americans. They may be brain addled but still smarter than the rest of the west.

Regrettably so.

Oh my F*ck. Are people trying to turn even this into a "conspiracy theory"?
"More info" = rumors and conjecture.

@LordShadowfire I'm not politically correct. 🤷‍♂️
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@BohemianBabe I didn't ask you to be. I just ask you to please not use the word that gives me flashbacks to when I was being bullied as a helpless little kid. But I guess I don't merit that amount of respect.

Okay, maybe it's because I was half asleep when I read this last night, but I could have sworn I asked for a source for your information. I don't see my comment now. Surely you wouldn't have deleted a request for evidence?

I did not see that request last night. At any rate, my source was a post on Quora. I plagiarized and lifted it out verbatim.

@sree251 Okay. I must have fallen asleep before I hit send, lol.

Okay, so I did some research beyond just a Quora post, and it seems the weapon used was an AR-15, or equivalent. Not some $13,000 weapon like some random on the internet said.

For what it's worth, I agree with you there's something fishy about the whole thing, but I think maybe it was staged as a publicity stunt. It's pretty hard to shoot somebody in the ear and not have the bullet graze or penetrate their skull. That's actually a really impressive trick shot.
@LordShadowfire And then for security to let him just stand there for so long. Everyone is talking about how cool it looked, like it was out of a movie, but this isn't how attempted assassinations actually happen. It's like they were legit trying to do a scene from a movie.

You could be right. A fancy military grade weapon seems like an unlikely match for a punk kid.

I know Trump, being an experienced TV personality is an actor on a stage performing to spectators. He is a better communicator than Ronald Reagan. This is why half the world love him and the other half hate his persona. But I don't think it was a trick shot. Who knows? 9/11 was one impressive trick shot. We make great movies.

We are a lying nation. We love lying to ourselves. We lie to the world.

Walmart definitely doesn't pay that well.
