@therighttothink50 Yes is CCP owned and operated. They seek to steel personal information and to corrupt and and destroy the USA. I wont waste my time with it. Same with Fake book, and even X is still unsafe. Our govt lied to every one claiming they were going to shut down Tic toc while they were getting paid off by the Chinese to keep it up and working.

I prefer genuine news sources that give balanced reports as far as practicable, or at least whose opinions are clear and honest; and analysis by people who know their subjects far better than I so I may understand something about them.

I regard all "social"-media sites - yes, SW as well - as at best, mere escapist entertainment, although I do grant that they can provide an outlet for people living in repressive regimes (like China)... until their rulers switch off access to the outside world.

@BohemianBabe They're quite concerned that they may be exposed to trans person while their young child is in the room. Hence the child is now doomed to become a trans as well. Doomed.

@Vin53 The steelmanning of being "anti-woke" would something like Thinkerbell said. Trying so hard to correct injustice, that you take it to ridiculous extremes. But like 90% of the time, what the Right says is "woke" is something as simple as, out of the hundreds of celebrities that did promos for Bud Lite throughout history, one of them was trans. So yeah, it's not really about an overcorrection of injustice, it's just that these people have a weird fetishistic hatred of trans people.
