You can trust the younger generation after all

Among the aides and former White House interns, there always is at least one or two who have not lost the idealistic and ethical compasses that led them into the political maelstrom to begin with. It was Butterfield who was Nixon's downfall at Watergate when he revealed the White House tapes existed. Now it is Cassidy Hutchinson's turn. Bless 'em for standing on principle over loyalty.
why is it.. that all the anti orange ppl have is 'hear say'

Our Stable Genius

“Talented and well-practiced in every vice, a stranger to compassion or empathy, a liar and a cheat so complete in perfidy that he has elevated his dishonesty to hold it up as an ersatz moral principle, violent, so long as he can order someone else to do the dirty work, grotesque in body, graceless in action, in possession of a wounded self-regard so colossal as to smother any spark of grace, treasonous, not only to country, but to every ally he has ever had, the poisoned fruit and rankest flower of racism and contempt for women, and utterly devoid of shame for his moral and spiritual bankruptcy.

That is your leader. That is to whom you give your money. That is who you follow and laud. That is whose banner you willingly carry. Why? Because he is a mirror, not a lighthouse. You see yourselves in him. He is what you would be, if you had inherited money and could shed the last vestiges of conscience and shame.

No, I do not “respect your choices,” nor do I admire your loyalty and dedication to this miserific, demoniac vision. You have demonstrated not only a lack of civic virtue, loyalty to the Republic and to the rule of law, but a willingness to engage in violence and sedition at his slightest expressed wish. And you will never, ever admit you were wrong.

Because you see your dark, twisted, resentful dreams in him. And to renounce him is to renounce yourselves.”

Only an idiot with the mentality of a 5-year old would believe a word she said. She's pissed because she didn't land a job at Mar-a-Lago. If POTUS had tried to commandeer the Beast it would have been the lead of every news story for the last 18 months.

The sworn testimony from the secret service will be very interesting. If it corroborates Cassidy, it will prove Trump's seditious treason.
GrinNude · 61-69, C
@sunsporter1649 You wish. Trump's own words seal his guilt in Georgia.
.
Earlier this year, the committee already asked the head of Trump’s detail on Jan. 6 — who was with Trump riding from the “Stop the Steal” rally to the White House that day — about that car trip. That agent, Robert Engel, gave testimony at the time that appears to be consistent with Hutchinson’s story but is not known to include the stunning details Hutchinson described.

The totality of Engel’s earlier testimony, however, is not fully known.

She is an excellent witness. Very credible. With very damning testimony. Now the Secret Service will testify under oath. That could be the coup de grace.

Hutchinson 'disgusted' at Trump's attack on Pence

Hutchinson said that, as a staff member, she was disappointed at a Trump tweet on Jan. 6 attacking Vice President Mike Pence, even as he was under threat of death by Trump rioters. Outside of her job, Hutchinson said she had a different reaction

"As an American, I was disgusted," Hutchinson said. "It was unpatriotic. It was un-American."

It's been interesting trying to square this. Yes. She and people like Kinzinger and Cheney are doing what's right. Now. But they sure didn't do what was right when they voted for and supported Trump. They're still Republicans who seek to use others, through fear, hate and anger, towards their own goals. So I"m not quite ready to put these people in the "Principled" category.

@sunsporter1649 Sure. If you don't know, I'll give you a hint. A woman is much more than a "dumb broad".

@GrinNude Wow, you are overly qualified to be a supreme court justice!
