I was literally JUST saying two minutes before reading this post, to my sister, I'm so effing sick of this humidity every damn day!!! (In MA) And I said I think in mid land CA it's 70 year round, let's move there!! And now I'm learning West Coast Canada is too!!
I agree...assuming there aren't any forest fires happening in the BC interior, then it's mid 20's Celsius with half a mile visibility in thick smoke from which there is no escape from.
Let's not jinx your west coast climate by boasting about "the best climate on the planet" until fire season is over, or else people might think you're American!
@swirlie yeah something like that. i was living in a 2 bedroom 1 bath condo a year ago where i was paying 1680. that was dirt cheap but i lived there for 20 years so rents could only go up so much. the person below me who moved in with the exact same layout was paying 2500...when i gave my notice they were gonna gut the place and remodel it. i wonder what it would be now....here is my old place...
@beermeplease To be honest, these apartment photos reflect a very early `80's vibe throughout, based on the style of kitchen cupboards they used, according to my architectural design sense! The kitchen appliance style for the fridge and stove are from the early 1990's which is when that style first came out and I think they're GE appliances.
@swirlie good eye...that about sums it up...the appliances were only the second to happen. i actually miss that place and it's location....but i don't regret moving where i did now...
@caccoon no...that was taken at my old place. my mom was still with me before she died...i was taking care of her. my cat came to live with me after she died. i don't live there any longer
@HowtoDestroyAngels when i was a kid i briefly lived in the toronto area and i remember how hot and humid it could get...i didn't mind the heat but the humidity sucked 🥵
