Summer Almost Over

It usually goes by too fast. But this heat done me in. 102 this week ( 38.8c) i think the conversion. I'm done. Give me Fall.

I can’t wait for this heat and humidity to be over. I enjoyed a 4-day mini vacay at the lake. I usually travel during fall. Cooler temps make it easier to be a tourist. 😎

Yes and no, I like it when my son is off school, makes for a more peaceful home but I am not liking the heat as much anymore.

Always. As a kid, I lost my all day play time. In high school, I got to have an extra date with my girlfriend in summer, but August meant two football practices a day.. In college, I actually got to see my girlfriend almost every day during the summer instead of once a month during the school year. Now, the end of summer means I become the Uber driver for my grandchildren.

Enjoy your vacation! Summer has always gone fast where I am. I’m usually frustrated a bit by it now. Longer stretches of more extreme heat and humidity than we used to have, and I don’t tolerate that well so I get my birdsong and flower admiring done in short bursts. lol

Where I'm at, the warm and hot weather basically starts in early April and goes till about the middle of November so it's basically summer 8 months out of the year here.

Summer always goes too fast! But I’ve taken two weeks of vacation and have two more in September. I’m trying to enjoy it the summer at a little slower pace this year.

Today is my last day of vacation. Hard to believe that July has already come and gone. Where’s the time gone?

But the good news is that September and October are nice too...

I miss the summers of when I was a kid because I had every single day to enjoy it.
