Can you believe summer is winding down?

idk why people think there is some unwritten law that they can't barbecue outside of summer

I still grill in the winter, prefer it actually... no insects flying around then... 🤔

I belong to a club that occasionally has Summer evening barbeques in its garden; using a properly-built structure that even has two hearths to be able to feed herbivores and omnivores at the same time. One weekend the weather turned against the planned outdoor meal. No problem. The club lounge had a large open fireplace, normally burning wood, so we took the charcoal and implements inside and enjoyed an indoor barbeque!

Nice. We have another month of summer in southeast Texas, maybe more.

Now THAT’S my kinda bbq outfit!!

Doing some fall gardening

I was only saying the same thing the other day. Time flies too quickly as you get older and no sooner has the summer started, then it's ending. However, at least we have the glorious colours of autumn to look forwards to.

Schools back, but really it's the hottest time of year. We won't see temps below 95 for a couple of months, here. Still so much time to BBQ, pool, and beach vacay.
