My grandma died when I was 3 or 4. Mom would tell me the same thing about the thunder, except it was grandma up there bowling. The really big ones were when she got a strike, so I'd always yell "way to go, gramma!!!"

I like them as well, we have good ones here because our house is in a mountain valley and the clouds bulk up in the evening ⛈
